I hold a Master of Arts degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, specializing in ceramics and drawing, as well as a certificate in Digital Illustration. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—horticulturist, shepherd, college instructor, web designer, and freelance illustrator—but my current role as Supervisor of a vibrant Ceramics Program is where I find my greatest fulfillment.
I live in Champaign, Illinois, with my supportive husband, a near-sighted cat, two rescue mutts, and four crested geckos. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me tending to my garden, lost in a good book, or wandering the wilderness. I especially enjoy relaxing on my back porch with a cup of coffee, soaking in the beauty of my gardens and the visiting wildlife.
Is site is an archive of my creative endeavors as they have accumulated over time. I invite you to explore.
